HOW
DOES IT WORK? |
| |
| Photorejuvenation is performed with
a series on Intense Pulsed light treatments. The
light penetrates the top layer of skin and acts
upon the underlying layer of the dermis. The light
energy seals small blood vessels, destroys melanin
pigment, destroys hair follicles, and stimulates
cells to produce new collagen which reduces wrinkles. |

WHAT
TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT? |
| |
| Results should become especially noticeable after
several treatments, as wrinkles, redness, and age
spots fade away. Patients also enjoy a reduction
in pore size, and an overall better skin tone and
texture. There is virtually no downtime associated
with photorejuvenationl. Some patients experience
slight redness after their IPL treatment, always
lasting less than 24 hours. |
